Stardew Valley is an open-world RPG game developed by Eric Barone.

It is a simple farming game at its core, but there is more than that. There is a unique world to probe, and every player must unlock it to explore. It is carefully planned out, so no area is similar to others. In Stardew Valley, new players usually wander around to pick up cute stuff around the map, changing area to area and season to season.

Stardew Valley lives up to its hype, without a doubt. Players get to choose from a variety of diverse characters with distinct personalities and lifestyles, and the NPCs are incredibly detailed and unique. For instance, you can find a local blacksmith who can upgrade your tools, a mayor who takes care of business in town, a wizard who sells magical items, or a friendly farmer who loves to chat. Each character has their own story to tell and discovering them is an absolute delight. With its captivating characters, engaging gameplay, and charming visuals, it’s no wonder Stardew Valley has become so popular.

Is Stardew Valley Worth It?

Stardew Valley is worth playing to this day. The game initially came out in 2016, and even after six years of being out, Stardew Valley still holds its own. The anniversary of Stardew Valley is February 26th. Who knows what the game developers have planned for it?

Stardew Valley is a peaceful RPG game. There is more than just farming; not every gamer is a farmer; some enjoy mining.

Not only can you mine, but you can fish. Moreover, players can level every skill; each has been paid attention to and designed perfectly. The combat system in the game is pretty simple. It is precisely what it needs to be, nothing spectacular.  There is much more than farming in Strandew Valley, having different skills to level, such as mining, combat, fishing, of course, farming, and many more.

You can go around collecting unique items and indulge in various quests.

The game also features the most interesting NPCS, adding to the town’s charm, from our hungry friend Linus, an extrovert, to our basement-dwelling vampire. Every character in this game is different from each other in no way do they feel identical. All of them talk and act differently. This game has much more depth than players know.

How Many Skills Are In Stardew Valley? How Do They Work?

Stardew Valley offers five skills in total Mining, Fishing, Farming, Combat, and Foraging. After reaching level 5 in a skill, players choose between two professions. Depending on what profession you picked on level 5, you will have two additional options when you reach level 10. If you have already picked out a profession and want to change it, you can pay 10,000 gold to the statue of uncertainty in the sewers.

Is Stardew Valley Good For Beginners?

Stardew Valley is an easy game and is beginner friendly. It looks daunting to many new players. Due to having different skills to level up because of this, it doesn’t look like a typical peaceful farming game.

But this is just a misconception some beginners have. The game is based on farming, but it focuses on different aspects. It is easy, but it could be more straightforward for players.

The Mistake Every Beginner Makes In Stardew Valley

Don’t sell whatever you find at the start of the game. Beginners often do this at the beginning and regret it later. Either their inventory was full, or they just dumped stuff at the end of the season. Avoid this mistake so you don’t regret it later on. At least keep 1 of every item in your storage because you never know when you need them.

Pros and Cons of Stardew Valley

Of course, every game has pros and cons Stardew Valley is no different. What matters the most for gamers is whether the cons of a game overpower the pros. Then it becomes worrying, isn’t it? You’ll be surprised how few are Stardew Valley’s cons, or does it even have any?

Pros of Stardew Valley

Game Delivers What It Promised

Stardew Valley advertises itself as a relaxation and life simulator game with multiple things to do. For a gamer, it’s nice to see the game delivers fantastic in every factor of what it says it is.

A lot Of Things To Do and Explore

Stardew Valley is packed with adventure to dig into its world. Players will go far enough to claim the world of Stardew Valley is packed with exploration and that you can never save enough time in your day. As you feel in real life, considering this is a life simulator game, that is a big pro.

Farming Is Fun

Framing in Stardew Valley is your primary source of income and entertainment for the game. Thus they spent a ton of time making it as good as it is. Necessarily it is not the most sensible thing in the world, but it fits the game very well. It’s the fan-favorite part of the game.

A Ton Of Progression

Stardew Valley is packed with progression. There is always somewhere you have yet to visit or something new to achieve. The more you play the game, the more you unlock, which results in feeling like there’s always something to achieve. Stardew Valley is the completionist’s dream.

Con of Stardew Valley

The Game Has NO True Ending

The only con is that Stardew Valley has no true ending. Players are glad there are different things to complete, and you can keep growing your farm, but Stardew Valley misses a story. After achieving something in the game instead of a story or some interaction, players get a score.

What Is The Price Of Stardew Valley

Cheap games often don’t bring the best gameplay, but expensive games sometimes offer that. But not every gamer can afford those luxuries, can they? If there is a game out there that is cheap and exemplary, undoubtedly, Stardew Valley is that game.

The price of Stardew Valley is coming at $6.99 on Steam. The game has 458,178 reviews on Steam. Surprisingly, all of them are approving!

Final Thoughts

Stardew Valley is an excellent game for its price and gameplay. Stardew Valley offers unique skills to level with excellent areas to wander. The only inconvenience a player might face is that there needs to be a story for Stardew Valley; unfortunately, players will never get that.

Stardew Valley is a peaceful game; building new farms and unlocking new areas enhances that. Some players are always looking for adventure and ease. There is no need to be always up for a challenge, as occasionally you just want to unwind. Sometimes you need some relaxation, and Stardew Valley delivers that flawlessly.
