What confuses most of the players is that the clue speaks of the town of Dublin and not the entire area, as one might be led to believe. Our first guess was the tree where Barid’s grave is, like most other players. This little oversight, while understandable, will lead you far from your actual goal.
It can be worrying because now you might think that you have to explore all of Dublin with a tape measure and make sure you are in the right spot but we bring you the good news that you can save yourself the effort and just get there in a few easy steps.
The tree itself is not easy to miss at all. All you need to do is travel to the Skall’s Rest offering altar in the northeast part of the town of Dublin. Just head north from there and you will find the tree not far from there. It is surrounded by pagan statues and its remarkable size will make it an easy target to spot.

Once you have traveled to the actual location of the tallest tree in Dublin, the clue should not be too hard to find. This is the part where players get confused because they start searching near the base of the actual tree with all of the pagan sculptures. Instead, you can find the clue on a bench nearby just a few steps before the actual tree begins.
It will be a note that the Spider has written that was not destroyed. It informs the player of the Spider’s whereabouts and the good news is that she is in Dublin in plain sight! The only thing left to do is to make your way there and assassinate your next member of the Order. Simple, right?

This might spark some frustration or disappointment, but you do not technically need to follow all clues to eliminate the Spider among the Children of Danu. Finding the clues will reveal that the Spider is Lady Aideen, the merchant of Dublin who can be found in the markets. You can use her location from the map to find and make quick work of her.
However, if you know her identity, you can kill her without finding clues. The tricky part is that she keeps switching her location in the markets of Dublin, which can make her a pain to find. We do not recommend doing it this way, but it makes for easier work in future playthroughs of the DLC.
In the market, she tends to switch between two spots primarily. You can find her quite easily by fast traveling to the Kilchrist high point in central London, where you can find both spots. She will either be under the blue tent or in the white shop containing animal skins. If you draw her bow, the reticle will automatically mark her as an enemy, and you can be sure of who it is. Then, all that is left is to kill her, and that is another Child of Danu down.
