Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an accessible adventure game with five main story arcs and countless optional side quests known as “World Events.” There is indeed a greater emphasis on stealth features for both exploring the game area and combat.
In the video game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Sten is a lonely and terribly unhappy vikinge you’ll meet in the Oxenefordscire area.
This is among the cruelest things I’ve ever played. It is, fortunately, also the simplest.
To complete 100% Oxenefordscire mission you must have to complete this World event. To help Sten, below are the instructions to be followed. We will also learn how to talk to him. Since, as you can see, Sten seems to have a particular dilemma. So let us first meet him and begin the Permit To Weep Mystery.
Long thing short, when you reach, you’ll see a warrior erecting a fire pit for his hunting party. Speak with him and, if you already have charisma level 3 or above, order him to cry. You’ll have to battle him if you are not at level 3 charisma. To accomplish this world event, use either charisma to order him or beat him in combat.
How To Get To Level 3 Charisma
Fans of the role-playing game genre are no strangers to the Charisma statistic. Typically, it is a talent or a technique that you may invest in, providing your player with additional speech choices to use in different discussions, negotiating with merchants, encouraging foes to escape, and so forth.
While it is extremely similar in AC Valhalla, it does not work in the same manner. To begin with, charisma is not a talent. While the talent tree is extensive so there is a bunch of very great stuff to acquire, Charisma is not among them.
Charisma, on the other hand, should only be gained by doing a single sort of action, Flying. Flying is similar to an old kind of rap battle. You pick a rival and try to outsmart them in your own rhythmic poetry. On the grid, they are denoted by mask symbols resembling theatrical masks.
Each Flying combat you win earns you additional silver as well as a boost to your Charisma, based on what you wager. Charisma isn’t necessary, and it’s rarely utilised, but having such a high Charisma level provides a few advantages. You can escape some confrontations, win a lot of extra silver in specific circumstances, and generally merely start opening some amusing chat replies.
Sten The Vikingr’s Location in AC Valhalla
Sten can be found on the northeastern boundary of Oxenefordscire, to the north-east of The Dead Eaters Alpha Animal, as seen on the map below.
You won’t be able to miss this person because as you approach near the place I marked above, you’ll see a big fire and hear him shouting.
As I already stated, he is genuinely desperate. Sten will disclose that he has lost everything if you speak with him.
That is, he missed his invading team, which can be seen in the fire. Every single one of them.
In addition, Sten had lost his bloodline in Norway.
The disease i.e. plague has destroyed Sten’s family, and there you can see various notes you may read. Look in the hay for the First Letter From Sten’s Neighbor, which informs our great viking that his family has perished, but Hilga was saved.
The first letter states:
Sten,
I write with melancholy. Your children and wife became unwell a few days ago.
The hamlet prayed to the Valkyrie Eir for healing, but their faces became paler day by day, until perspiration soaked their clothes. They perished on Thor’s Day.
You have two options: allow him to cry all he wants to attack him so that he can vent his rage. Frankly, I let him cry because I had the Charisma to provide it (you get Charisma from Flytings). I’m not sure what the alternative consequence is, but the extra point you get remains constant.
Another bad news; Hilga also died. This news came from the house in the 2nd Letter from Sten’s neighbour. All intercessory prayers to Eir were in vain. Your child is no longer with you.
There are two choices to make Sten weep and this is your goal.
Dialogue Choices For Weeping Sten
As you may expect, both options you receive after speaking with Sten will assist you in completing this World Event, but not both are morally right.
Sten’s conversation options are shown below.
Listen to these dialogues carefully as Sten wants your permit to weep. The right answer is “I give you permission”.
As the Sten is so devastated, you must have 3 charisma to give him and complete the quest, but only if you have completed Flyting Duels.
The second option is fighting with the Viking, by picking “Relieve your anger, fight me!”
This will be helpful for you to resolve the riddle, but keep in mind that Sten has become distraught, so degrading him in combat is enough, despite how courageous our viking is.
Likewise, these decisions have little long-term impact on the game’s plot.
As a result, you are allowed to select the one that best suits your needs.
This is the way to help Sten and completing the Permission To Weep challenge in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Let us now rescue another NPC who is imprisoned in the chapel.
