Warframe Banshee got her name based on her acquired skills, and as the name banshee implies she uses sound as her core strength in order to defeat her enemies.
Banshee plays an excellent supporting role in alliances and she’s capable of dealing a fair amount of damage on enemies as her skills allow for a range of different play styles available to her players.
How Do You Get Banshee? Banshee BWB-2
Before you can get banshee blueprints for crafting she must first be researched at the Tenno Research Lab facility found at the Dojo. After this, her blueprints become available for crafting Banshee.
Banshee can also be bought from the infamous ingame market for a total sum of 225 Platinum on the orbiter
The Banshee Prime
The Banshee Prime is the much more advanced variant of Banshee and is also known as banshee’s prime variant. It comes with an increased capacity in her base armor and overall energy.
Below are the relics that contain the banshee’s prime variant:
- Blueprint: Meso T2, Neo V7, Axi C4,Neo N7, Axi K3, Neo H1, Neo T1.
- Chassis: Meso B2, Neo B1, Neo B2.
- Systems: Neo B4, Neo B5, Axi B1, Axi B2.
- Neuroptics: Neo K2, Neo S7, Lith B5, Lith V5, Meso S4.
All of these relics are vaulted and there are no known available ones. As all the ones above have to be unlocked.
The Banshee warframe has the ability to defeat enemies using blasts of sound, can track enemy activity using her sound waves, and also has the ability to use the sound in an area to hide herself and give away earthquaking pulses.
The Sonic Boom
Banshee has the ability to create waves with such great force that can undoubtedly knock back enemies and also stun them for a while when they’re getting back off the ground.
This ability comes in handy when banshee is in a crowd of enemies, is cornered, and possibly outnumbered. Triggering this ability helps her get out of sticky situations.
The Sonic Boom has its uses also in the displacement of her enemies and can even eventually with great force push her foes off the map and into ditches that will eventually lead to their demise.
The Augment Mod: The Augment mod allows for the phenomenon known as the Sonic Fracture that can cause her enemies to have a weaker armor lasting for a certain time frame.
This ability called Sonar allows her to track the enemies and cause them to be visible on the map all the while placing weak spots on her first that would enable her to multiply her critical hits damage that’ll allow her to finish them off faster.
The sonar tracks down the location of the enemies and is able to monitor their movements, observing from whence they go and whence they come from.
Banshee can utilize this Sonar ability to be able to dictate the spawning areas of her enemies and use this information as an added advantage when on a farming expedition with a group or team.
The Sonar effects can elicit an increasingly high amount of critical hit damage from which team members can have an added advantage as this effect shows the weak spots of the approaching enemies.
Augment Mod: The augment mod that is Resonance as the name implies influences the effects of the sonar on other enemies as well. For instance, enemies that were annihilated by weak spots by resonance allow other enemies to reveal their weak spots allowing for the chain reaction of the Sonar.
Silence stuns enemies and also decreases their vision and perceptive strength that grants you the ability to hide in plain sight from them as they’re completely disabled and are unable to detect your movements or your location. This way you come after them instead and they can barely defend themselves.
This ability comes in handy when there is a great number of enemies as it helps with crowd control. It also has its uses for furtive missions where stealth is key to finish.
Augment Mod: This allows finishers such as stealth attacks, attack approaches on already stunned enemies to deal damages of about 300%. Impressive, right?
The Sound Quake
Banshee emits sound waves into the ground releasing earth-quaking pulses that deal damages to her enemies in the blast zone.
This effect causes the enemies to waver in shock every few seconds all the while dealing damages to them giving the other team members an attacking opportunity.
Resonance also plays around with the Sound quake ability and banshee can deal a massive amount of damage to the area around her without needing to constantly channel the Sound quake ability.
This ability is useful for knocking down enemies over a large area. It lets you cover more ground quickly and effectively, while also dealing damages to your enemies.
Augment Mod: The Resonating Quake provides Banshee with the ability to send out earth-shattering pulses that produce an outward ripple effect, covering a large area and dealing up to 20x more damages as opposed to channeling the ability.
Resonating Quake Strength Build
The Resonating Quake build has its focus on utilizing the Sound quake to its optimum level allowing it to deal great damages to enemies within a fair radial area.
Making use of this build can with ease clear out small areas with impressive results due to the massive damage deals of the ability.
The Sonic Boom has the ability to push enemies away from her and deals a fair amount of damage, while the Sonar and Silence abilities cover a large radius but in a shorter time frame.
Resonating Quake Balanced Build
This build provides more balance on activation of Sound Quake, giving it a much further reach but the rainy side is that it will deal less damage than intended.
This balance build allows the Sound Quake to cover larger grounds and also serves to eliminate enemy targets that are closer or in further distances from Banshee.
On this build, the Sonic Boom, Sonar, as well as the Silence will all have the same duration still but the Sonar then has a lesser critical hits multiplier bonus.
Resonating Quake Range Build
The Range build cannot boast of an impressive amount of damage deals but this build allows the Sound quake to reach greater distances and can quite possibly hit enemy targets unbeknownst to the player.
On this build the Sonic Boom, Sonar, as well as Silence, will have an increased range capacity with a downside of a reduced duration on the Sonar and Silence abilities.
Resonance Strength Build
The resonance strength build utilizes the Sonar alongside the Resonance mod that then allows the ability to resonate towards the other enemies when they are killed, revealing their weak points and getting hit there.
The only disadvantage of this build is that it utilizes so much energy in exchange for large amounts of critical hit damage.
Resonance Balanced Build
Resonance Balanced build is a facsimile to the other previous builds only that it has fewer strength abilities but in exchange for this setback there’s more cover area as regards to range and it costs less energy to utilize.
This build allows you to use Sonar as many times as possible with good range as well.
This build proves its efficacy. I’m using Sonar for short to long-range attacks allowing effects to spread much more rapidly and with ease as well.
Resonance Range Build
This build is similar to the other previous ones and it allows Banshee to hit several enemy targets at longer ranges and also deals a fair amount of damage as well.
This build allows you to get all the enemies on the map so you know your footing, plan ahead and successfully eliminate banshee’s foes.
This build works very well with sniper rifles allowing Banshee to deal massive damage from long ranges giving her an added advantage of eliminating enemy targets before they come any closer.
Banshee is a warframe and is very good for supporting teams or groups and in dealing increased amounts of damage.
She can fly solo and deal damages by herself quite alright. With her abilities spanning from Sonar, Silence, and Sonic boom she can get out of sticky situations like being outnumbered, engage enemies stealthily and also cause massive damage across a wider range on the battlefield.
Banshee has been proven as one of the very best Warframes that can be effectively utilized for clearing enemy targets on maps with ease and efficiency.
